Philosophy of Patient Care and Professional Practice

When it comes to patient care, I believe the doctor should first lead by example. Doctors cannot expect their patients to lead a healthy lifestyle if they themselves indulge in the very things they tell their patients to stay away from, or if they themselves do not make time to engage in activities that promote health. Next, the doctor should listen with genuine interest and care, and without prejudice, so that the patient may entrust the doctor with all of their sensitive health information needed to provide an accurate assessment and effective treatment plan. In a patient-centered system of health care, a doctor of any medical discipline is merely a part of a greater healthcare team that offers well-rounded approaches to diagnosis along with a multitude of treatment options available to the patient. In this system, the patient may make an informed decision in the best of their interest. Whenever possible, doctors of various disciplines and specialties should collaborate to collectively provide the highest quality of care.

Mission Statement

I am committed to providing quality natural health care with the patient’s unique health needs in mind. ‘Natural health care’ refers to treatments that activate the body’s own healing mechanisms without causing damaging effects. My priority is to ensure the patient receives the maximum benefit from their treatments while learning to support their own health through dietary or lifestyle adjustments. I intend to build lifelong partnerships with patients for the purpose of improving their overall health on the mental, physical and spiritual levels.
